Terms of Use
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Teen AutoLog app (the "app"), made by Greyson Lynn, an independent developer ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What the app does
The app helps a parent or guardian keep a record of a teen's supervised practice driving: drives, day and night hours, conditions and supervisors, and a printable log. It is a record-keeping tool.
Your responsibilities
- Accuracy: you are responsible for the drives in your log and for any certification, form or affidavit you sign. Check your log before you sign it.
- Your state's rules: you are responsible for meeting your state's requirements, including who may supervise and how hours must be proven.
- Safety: the driver must never use the phone while driving. The app is used by the supervising adult in the passenger seat. Always follow traffic laws.
- Your account: keep your sign-in secure. Anyone you invite to your family log can see and change it.
State information
State requirements shown in the app (such as total and night hours) are taken from each state's official information, show the date we checked them, and link to the official page. Rules can change, and states decide what they accept. This information is not legal advice. Always confirm with your state. Teen AutoLog is not affiliated with any state, DMV or government agency.
Purchases
- The app is free for your first 5 hours of driving. After that, a one-time in-app purchase unlocks new drives for your whole family.
- Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and follow their terms. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- You can restore your purchase on a new phone from the app.
- Your drives, printout and CSV export stay available to you whether or not you buy the unlock.
Your data
Your family's log belongs to you. You can export it or delete it at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
The app is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep the app reliable and your hours safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a delayed license, a decision by a state agency, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that can't be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms. If we make important changes to the terms, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
